Renovation Assistance in Köln – Reliable Student Helpers from €3

Renovation projects quickly reveal how exhausting manual labour can be, especially when you are balancing work and tight deadlines. ProfiStudis matches you with energetic, motivated student helpers who handle the heavy lifting and time-consuming site prep so you can focus on the finish work.

• Demolition prep and rubble removal: Hauling heavy bags of broken tiles, plasterboard, and screed down narrow Altbau staircases straight into the skip.
• Curbside delivery carry-in: When building suppliers or freight hauliers drop heavy pallets of laminate, tiles, or drywall sheets at the kerb, our helpers carry everything up to your flat.
• Surface prep and stripping: Peeling old woodchip wallpaper, pulling out stubborn carpet underlay, or sanding down doorframes and skirting boards.
• Room clearing and furniture shifting: Moving bulky wardrobes, couches, and appliances between rooms or down into the cellar to clear work zones safely.
• Last-minute cancelation rescue: If your friends or trades assistants cancel on short notice, we can arrange short-notice or same-day replacement hands.

Whether you are modernising a period apartment or upgrading a single-family house, we coordinate student helpers throughout the entire metropolitan area. Many students are based close to major campuses and transport hubs, enabling rapid arrival times across all city districts.

We regularly cover central neighbourhoods such as Ehrenfeld, Nippes, Sülz, and Mülheim. We also dispatch helpers beyond the city borders to surrounding commuter communities including Hürth and Bergisch Gladbach.

Wherever your job site is located in 2026, we ensure your helpers have straightforward transit access so they arrive on site punctually and ready to get their hands dirty.

• Submit your job details: Share your location, work date, expected hours, and the tasks required (e.g. rubble clearance, painting prep, carrying cement bags). You can book from a single helper to a crew of 3 to 4 people.
• We select and confirm vetted helpers: We hand-pick verified candidates whose physical capabilities and schedules fit your project. We lock in your team and run our standard re-confirmation checks 48 hours and 24 hours prior to the job.
• Work gets done and fair direct payment: Your helpers arrive, tackle the physical work under your guidance, and receive their wage directly from you starting at a fair €14 per hour.

Organising private assistance online often leads to unreliable contacts or ghosting. ProfiStudis solves this with structured matching and verified reliability.

• Manually reviewed student profiles: Every helper profile is personally screened and verified before receiving job assignments. No anonymous, unvetted postings.
• The 2-1 confirmation check: Every assigned helper must actively re-confirm their assignment 48 hours and 24 hours before your slot, dramatically eliminating unexpected no-shows.
• Scalable teams with WhatsApp coordination: Need 2 to 4 workers for a single-day push? For multi-helper teams, we set up a dedicated WhatsApp group so you can coordinate timing and logistics in one central place.
• Licensed van drivers available: Many students hold valid EU driving licences and are experienced with standard hire vans from Carl & Carla, Miles, or Sixt, helping you haul bulky supplies or dump debris at local recycling depots.
• Transparent and legal framework: ProfiStudis acts solely as a matching service. Private households can easily register helpers via Germany's official Minijob-Zentrale using the simplified Haushaltsscheck-Verfahren, while corporate clients use the SV-Meldeportal for statutory accident cover and compliance.
