Painter Assistance in Gießen – Reliable Student Helpers from €3

A successful renovation or fresh coat of paint usually comes down to thorough prep work and extra hands. Whether you are moving out of an apartment or sprucing up your home in Gießen in 2026, our student assistants take over the labor-intensive tasks so you can get the job done faster.

• Masking & Floor Protection: Careful taping of edges, baseboards, door frames, and laying down protective fleece or plastic sheeting across your floors.
• Room Clearing & Heavy Furniture Shifting: Moving heavy wardrobes, sofas, and tables into the center of the room or carrying them to another floor to keep them clean.
• Wallpaper Stripping & Surface Prep: Soaking and scraping off old wallpaper, light plaster sanding, washing walls, and filling minor nail holes.
• Hauling Supplies & Bucket Duty: Carrying heavy 15-liter paint buckets, ladders, and scaffolding up narrow stairs, even to 4th-floor flats without an elevator.
• Short-Notice Replacement: When booked friends or regular helpers cancel on the morning of your project, we source quick same-day or next-day replacements.

Finding energetic local help should not depend on where your property is situated. Through our network of local university students, we connect you with reliable assistants across the entire Gießen area.

We regularly place helpers throughout core neighborhoods such as Wieseck, Kleinlinden, Schiffenberg, and the lively Innenstadt. Need a crew outside the city limits? We also arrange helpers for surrounding commuter hubs like Heuchelheim, Wettenberg, and Pohlheim.

Because students are based locally, they arrive promptly using public transit, bicycles, or car-sharing services, keeping logistics simple and arrival times predictable.

• 1. Submit Your Job Details: Specify the date, location in Gießen, and the exact tasks needed—such as masking, wallpaper scraping, or carrying heavy paint buckets.

• 2. Get Matched with Vetted Students: We match your project with dependable students. You will receive their profiles and direct contact details to confirm schedule specifics.

• 3. Complete the Work & Pay Directly: The helpers arrive on time and get to work. Once the job is finished, you pay them their wage directly, starting from €14/hour in cash or via bank transfer.

We run a focused intermediary service designed to give you dependable support without long-term contracts or rigid agency costs.

• Vetted Profiles: Every student assistant undergoes a manual profile check before matching, ensuring reliable, motivated help.
• 2-1 Confirmation Protocol: To prevent no-shows, our helpers must re-confirm their shift 48 hours and 24 hours prior to starting.
• Flexible Team Sizes: Hire an individual extra pair of hands or scale up to a crew of 3 to 4 helpers for larger flats.
• Van Drivers Available: Need painting gear or materials collected from Bauhaus or Toom? Many students hold valid B-class licenses to drive rental vans from providers like Carl & Carla, Miles, or Sixt.
• Dedicated Coordination: For multi-helper bookings, we organize a shared WhatsApp group to align start times and task priorities.
• Transparent Legal Setup: ProfiStudis acts strictly as an intermediary platform. For official employment coverage, private households can effortlessly register helpers via the Minijob-Zentrale Haushaltsscheck-Verfahren, while commercial clients use the SV-Meldeportal.
