Moving Helper in Freiburg

Moving in Freiburg often comes with logistical curveballs, from historic multi-story buildings without lifts to haulage companies dropping boxes on the pavement.

• Curbside delivery rescue: Freight companies usually deliver only "frei Bordsteinkante". When pallets of furniture or heavy white goods arrive unexpectedly at the curb, our helpers rush in to carry everything up into your flat.

• Altbau stairs & heavy appliances: Carrying a washing machine or solid oak table up a narrow spiral staircase to a 4th-floor apartment in an older building is tough. Our fit student helpers have the endurance and strength to get it done safely.

• Last-minute replacement: Did your friends or pre-booked helpers cancel at 8:00 AM on moving day? ProfiStudis offers prompt short-notice and same-day matching to keep your move on schedule.

• Rearranging, yard work & renovation prep: Need bulky wardrobes shifted between rooms, a garden cleared of heavy rubble, or tile debris hauled away before painting starts? Our helpers tackle heavy home labor beyond standard moves.

• Scalable moving crews: Whether you just need one extra pair of hands for ninety minutes or a synchronized team of 3 to 4 students for an entire day, you can scale the crew to match your job.

Freiburg is known for its steep university town energy and distinct neighborhoods. We connect you with local students situated right where you need them.

• Inner-city districts: Fast dispatch throughout Wiehre, Stühlinger, Herdern, Zähringen, and the eco-district Vauban.

• Suburban & commuter areas: Active helper networks extend into nearby Umland towns such as Gundelfingen, Kirchzarten, and Bad Krozingen.

Because students are located across the city, they can arrive via local transit or bike promptly, cutting down on travel delays and keeping logistics smooth.

Hiring moving assistance should be straightforward, transparent, and completely free of paperwork headaches.

• Step 1: Submit your job details: Tell us the date, address, expected hours, and specific tasks (such as van driving, box carrying, or furniture assembly).

• Step 2: Get matched with verified students: We review our pool of local candidates and assign helpers suited to your physical requirements and schedule. Finding helpers starts from just €3.

• Step 3: Move with confidence: Your helpers arrive on time. You pay them directly upon job completion at a fair wage starting from €14 per hour.

ProfiStudis acts solely as a specialized matching service, giving you maximum control and verified quality without the steep overhead of full-service removal firms.

• Manually vetted student profiles: We check identities and credentials. You never deal with unverified or anonymous internet postings.

• The 2-1 confirmation protocol: Reliable attendance matters. Our automated system requires matched helpers to re-confirm their shift 48 hours and 24 hours prior to your moving slot.

• Van drivers available: Many Freiburg students carry a valid European driver's license and have experience maneuvering rental vans from Carl & Carla, Miles, or Sixt through tight street layouts.

• WhatsApp group coordination: For multi-helper bookings, we set up a dedicated group chat to make direct coordination between you and the team completely effortless.
