Carrying assistants in Reutlingen

Do you need strong hands at short notice for heavy furniture, boxes, or appliances in Reutlingen? Our fit students from the Hochschule Reutlingen and the neighboring Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen pitch in right where you cannot manage alone and can be booked starting at 14 €/hr. Instead of paying an expensive full-service moving company for the entire day, you can book targeted student muscle power with us for the exact hours when heavy lifting is actually required.

The Reutlingen housing market often presents special challenges when carrying heavy items: narrow old-building staircases without elevators in the city center around Wilhelmstraße and Tübinger Tor, steep hillside locations in the Oststadt at the Georgenberg, or sprawling residential complexes in Orschel-Hagen, Hohbuch, and Betzingen. While external transport companies often charge high travel flat rates and get stuck with their large trucks in rush-hour traffic on the B28 (Ulmer Straße), the B312, or in front of the Scheibengipfeltunnel, our student carrying assistants live right on site. They arrive quickly by bike, via the regional train RB 63 through the Reutlingen Hauptbahnhof, or using the RSV bus lines (such as line 1, 2, 4, or 11) directly to your meeting point. This means you do not pay for expensive travel routes and get punctual, energetic support starting at 14 €/hr.

Whether it is a single heavy family heirloom, a new washing machine, or a whole van full of moving goods – our helpers take on the heavy physical work:

• Loading & Unloading Vans: Fast, safe loading and unloading of your rental van (e.g., from Sixt on Bahnhofstraße, Europcar on Sondelfinger Straße, or Carl und Carla) as well as space-saving stacking and securing of the cargo.
• Heavy Load & Appliance Transport Through Stairwells: Powerful carrying of washing machines, refrigerators, solid wood wardrobes, or sofas to upper floors (gladly using carrying straps or hand trucks rented from Obi on Emil-Adolff-Straße or Bauhaus in Betzingen).
• Rearranging Furniture & Internal Transports: Moving heavy pieces of furniture within the house (e.g., before laying new floors or painting work) as well as carrying boxes from the basement up to the attic.
• Clearance & Bulky Waste Assistance: Carrying old furniture down to the curb for bulky waste collection or loading it directly for a trip to the recycling center Reutlingen-Süd or the Schinderteich facility.
